ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iasi was founded in 1962 under the name of Uzina “Metalurgica” Iasi. The main purpose of business is the production and trade of longitudinally welded steel pipes, cold drawn profiles, crash guard barriers for motorways etc. In 2003, the company was purchased by LNM Holding’s N.V., currently ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Holdings B.V. The company was successively renamed Ispat Tepro, then Mittal Steel Iasi to activate currently as ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Iasi. Starting with the 9th of November 1996, the Company’s shares are traded on Bucharest Stock Exchanges, Rasdaq market.
