Euroins Romania Asigurare-Reasigurare SA (Romania)

Euroins Romania is a Romanian general insurance company, headquartered in the city of Voluntari. It has been incorporated in February 1994 and is part of Euroins Insurance Group (EIG). The company was established as a response to the demand of Romanian transporters for an insurer specialized in their specific problems. Over the years Euroins Romania (former Asitrans SA) expanded its market segments, offering today almost all types of non-life insurance. In 2000 Euroins Romania was authorized to practice green card insurance and is a member of B.A.A.R., The Romanian Motor Insurers’s Bureau. At the beginning of 2007, Eurohold Bulgaria bought the majority share stock of the former Asitrans and starting from June 2008 the name of the company changed into EuroIns Romania.
