Grup Servicii Petroliere SA company was founded in 2004. GSP is a member of UPETROM GROUP, a company with 100% private share capital. Company is the largest Romanian entrepreneurial business and has made it to the 2011 Deloitte CE Top 500, ranking 2nd place, with a growth of 150% in 2010. GSP operates an extensive and diversified fleet including seven mobile offshore drilling rigs – GSP Saturn, GSP Jupiter, GSP Orizont, GSP Atlas, GSP Prometeu, GSP Britannia and GSP Fortuna. GSP also operates nine multifunctional offshore support vessels, one MEDEVAC and three construction vessels – a shallow water pipelay and heavy lift barge, a semi-submersible barge, a pipelay vessel and two crane barges, as well as several ROVs and one Saturation Diving System. GSP is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and the International Pipe Line and Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA).
