Iamu SA is a Romanian commercial company established in 1974 when the first production capacity comes into operation under the name of The Enterprise of Accessories for Machine Tools. Iamu Blaj was specialized in the execution of accessories and spare parts for machine tools, execution of daily consumer goods and overhaul for machine tools. In 1990 has Iamu SA has been incorporated. After 1990 the company has refocused its production on the requirements of the market economy introducing, in addition to the traditional products, other products at the request of customers, such as: linear guidance elements, vices, components for packaging machines for plastic injection machines, for machines from the paper industry, for measuring and control equipment, metalworking machine tools. In 1994 begins the collaboration with the German company Deutsche Star GmbH Rexroth, which became Rexroth-Bosch GROUP, and with this starts the fabrication of linear technology elements.
