The construction of the plant started in 1954 near the city of Angarsk. Putting the futire atomic complex into construction was one of the steps of achieving the parity with the US in terms of increasing production of enriched uranium. Currently the company is undergoing restructuring within the frames of the whole industry reforming and takes part in the realization of the public long-term reforming campaign till 2020. The plant is certified in accordance with the quality management system ISO 9001:2000 and EMS 14001:2004.
