Mosenergo is the largest regional generating company in Russia and technologically an integral part of the United Energy System of Russia. The company is engaged in the electricity generation and wholesale distribution, production and distribution of heat. There are 15 stations that are part of the company with an installed electrical capacity of more than12 thousand MW and thermal capacity of around 40 thousand MW. The electrical stations of the company supply more than 60% of the electrical energy consumed in the Moscow region, and provide about 70% of Moscow's heat.
