Volzhskii Trubnyi Zavod AO, located in Volzhsky, was founded in 1970. The company produces seamless pipes for the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, automotive, machinery, heat and power engineering industries. They also manufacture electric-welded spiral-seam and straight-seam pipes of large diameter for the construction of main gas and oil pipelines. In 2009, a new modern section for the production of welded straight-seam pipes with a diameter of 508-1420 mm was put into operation. This section produces pipes for main oil and gas pipelines, including underwater and field pipelines, general-purpose pipelines, pipelines for heat networks and nuclear power plants. The steelmaking complex of Volzhskii Trubnyi Zavod fully meets the company's needs for steel pipe billets. The pipes are produced in accordance with international and Russian standards, as well as technical specifications. The company's products are supplied to both Russian and foreign customers.
