Saudi Arabian Mining Company, commonly known as Ma'aden, is a Saudi mining and minerals company headquartered in the city of Riadh. It was incorporated in 1997 and its shares have been listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange since 2008. The company’s main activities are four types: operating five gold mines in KSA, phosphate, aluminium and industrial materials production. Maaden's exploration teams are trying to expand available resources in existing business areas and to broaden the company's mineral portfolio as well. The company is cooperating the the Government to develop an effective framework for the managing of the mining industry in the country.
