Saudi Cement Company (SCC) is a Saudi Joint Stock Company established in 1955 and it started operation in 1961. The principal object of the company is to produce cement, cement products and invest in cement related fields. SCC operate two cement plants in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The two plants, namely Hofuf Plant and Ain Dar Plant. Its products feature ordinary Portland cement, sulphate-resistant cement and oil well cement, in addition to other types of cement distributed domestically. Its export market includes the Gulf countries, such as Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar, as well as the United States and other countries in Europe and Africa. The Company owns and operates an export terminal at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam.
