The National Agricultural Development Company, commonly known as NADEC is a Saudi joint stock food and agricultural company, headquartered in the city of Riadh in Saudu Arabia. It was incorporated in 1981 with initial capital of 400 million Saudi riyals. The company’s main activities are agricultural, food, dairy and beverage production, but it is also dealing with cows farming. The company specializes mainly in dairy products, milk, cheese, desserts, juices, butter, olive oil, fruit, vegetables and fodder for the cows. The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia owns 20% of the company and the rest is publicly traded on the Saudi Stock Exchange. NADEC is the first and the largest agricultural shareholding company in the country.
