The Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company (Amiantit) was established in 1968 in Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to manufacture pipes for the local market. Since then, Amiantit has grown and developed into a major diversified industrial group with operations spanning the globe. The Company operates pipe system manufacturing plants, technology companies, materials suppliers and engineering subsidiaries. The Company uses fiberglass, polyurethane and polymers materials to produce Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) Pipes, Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) Pipes, Thermoplastic Pipes, Ductile Iron Pipes and Concrete Pipes. In 2009, it increased its ownership in SADIP to 100%. Its products target the municipal, civil engineering, industrial, energy and the agricultural markets worldwide. Amiantit is headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where its shares are listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange.
