Yanbu Cement Company was established as a joint stock company under royal resolution No.10 in 1977 by initial capital of 700 million SR and subsequently the capital was increased. The company manufactures, supplies and trades in ordinary Portland cement, Portland cement type I, Portland cement type II, Portland cement type V, sulfate-resistant cement, Portland Pozzolana and low-heat cement. The Company's manufacturing plant is located at Ras Baridi around 60 kilometers north of Yanbu city on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. The Company holds capital shares of Yanbu Saudi Kuwaiti Paper Products Company, formerly Yanbu Al Shaiba Paper Products Ltd.
