Revoz d.d. is the only car manufacturer in Slovenia. Its history dates back to the mid 50s when a company called Agroservis started to carry out maintenance of agricultural machinery. In the 70s the company began production of Renault vehicles following an agreement with French group Renault.
The group became a majority stockholder with a 54% stake in Revoz in 1991 and increased that stake to 66.68% ten years later. In December, 2003, Renault bought the rest of the shares and became 100 % shareholder of the Slovenian company.
The Revoz vehicle manufacturing plant, which is located in the town of Novo Mesto, is entirely incorporated into the system of the Renault Production Department which links all its European plants manufacturing passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The majority of the plant’s production is exported at European markets.
