Energotel,a.s. (Slovakia)

Energotel, a.s. has been operating in the Slovak market as a telecommunication operator since 2000. It offers services within the telecommunications infrastructure of Slovak power distribution companies. Currently the core business of the company is to provide telecommunication services – lease of telecommunications circuits, Internet service provider (ISP), voice services, fixed telecommunications networks as well as outsourcing and maintenance of telecommunications assets. From March 2004 the company became an Internet Service Provider. From November 2001 the original name of Transtel, a.s. was changed to a new name ENERGOTEL, a.s. Energotel, a.s. works as an alternative operator in the Slovak market of telecommunication services within the telecommunications infrastructure of power distribution companies – shareholders. These are Zapadoslovenska energetika, Stredoslovenska energetika, Vychodoslovenska energetika, Slove! nske elektrarne, Transpetrol and Slovensky plynarensky priemysel.
