The history of the company FERONA goes back so far as to 1919, when the first Slovak joint stock company, trading with iron and steel products was established. Later, in the former Czechoslovakia, FERONA became an absolute trade leader on the market with metallurgical products. In 1992 the company FERONA with its head office in Prague and the subsidiary company FERONA was established, which in 1997 accepted the name FERONA Slovakia, a.s. with its seat in Žilina.
