The company SlovTan is located in the city of Liptovsky Mikulas, Liptov region, in Slovakia. Since 1997 leathers have been processed in the region by the German company Schafstall Group. In 2005, SlovTan Contract Tannery was established as a member of this group. Currently, SlovTan is the only company in Slovakia which has the manufacturing programme covering the entire process from entry of raw hides up to the dispatch of finished leathers.
