The Societe de Transport des Hydrocarbures par Pipelines « SOTRAPIL » is a limited company that has as main object the transport of hydrocarbons by pipeline. In 2006, its capital reaches 14.300.000 dinar. The company started the operations of exploitation in February 1984 and was classified, by law 89-9, among the public companies from February 1989. On December 13, 2000 the extra ordinary general assembly decided the opening of the capital of the company to the public and its introduction to the Stock Exchange of Tunis.
