The company was founded in 1964, as a small grocery store in Sanliurfa, moving to Istanbul in 1981, It continued It's activities in food wholesale area. The company became the distributor of several leading companies, such as Unilever, Trakya Birlik, Dr. Oetker, Marmarabirlik Simsek Gida and Tukas. In 2012 Akyurek Pazarlama was formed by the union of Aksel Tuketim Urunleri Satis Dagitim Ticaret A.S. and Akyurek Kardesler Gida. Today Akyurek is offering services to 80.000 sale points in 81 cities arround the country with its 18 operation centers, 650 employees and the fleet of 360 vehicles.
