Konya Cimento was founded in 1954 in Konya, Turkey and started production in 1963 with capacity of 200.000 ton/year. In 1989 the shares of the company were transferred to the Public Participation Administration and later were offered to public. In 1991 IsBank sold Its shares to the French VICAT Group.
Nowadays the company has annual production capacity of 2.150.000 tons cement and 1.5 million tons of clinker. The company has also 22 ready-mixed concrete plants in Turkey, one agrega facility in Gazipasa, 26 concrete pumps and a fleet consisting of 78 truck mixer vehicles.
