Pan Overseas Corporation (POC) was founded in 1978. It is also a listed company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange with the security code 2904. Tank terminal services, including oil and petrochemical storage, are POC's current major businesses. POC has been focusing this industry for more than 20 years. POC is the only service provider in the Petrochemical Specialized Zone at Taichung Port in Taiwan, to have two shore tank terminals, with one used exclusively by POC for berthing. In the tank terminal industry, POC provides a total number of 50 tanks of various types with an aggregate capacity of approximately 300,000 kilo liters. In terms of shore tank services, POC is the largest scale and most well-managed professional oil and petrochemical storage and transshipping company. The total area of the two shore tank terminals is approximately 90,000 square meters. POC has 43 petrochemical tanks; each with a capacity from 750~3,200 kilo liters. The other 7 tanks are for oil storage, each with a capacity from 20,000~35,000 kilo liters. Some of the petrochemical tanks are designed for the storage of warming, toxic and high vapor pressure cargos. As for the oil operation, POC has abundant experience handling various types of oil products. Its major clients are well-known local and overseas petrochemical manufacturers or traders. The storage operations are not only monitored periodically by the authorities concerned, but also audited by the above-mentioned clients regularly or at ad hoc times. In addition, its operation management systems are certified by ISO 9001 and 14001.
