As a leading real estate developer and builder in Taiwan, Prince Housing & Development Corp. was established in 1973 and started business in 1974. In April, 1991 the company was listed and traded publicly in the stock market with symbol 2511. Prince Housing & Development Corp. has been principally engaged in the development, leasing and distribution of residential properties and office buildings. The company provides lofts, apartments, residential buildings, stores and office buildings, among others. In 1975 its first project in Tainan came to a success and was sold out as soon as finished, which brought great confidence and encouragement to all employees. Soon at the same time the company started business in both Taipei and Tainan. In 1974 Taipei branch was founded. With good reputation and stable finance its business expanded step by step and more branches were founded, Taichung branch in 1978 and Kaohsiung branch in 1979. In 2004 a joint venture namely Uni-President Development Company was established by Prince Housing & Development Corp., together with Uni-President Enterprises Corporation, President Chain Store Corporation and Uni-President International Company. It won the fifty-year right to develop the case of municipal transfer station BOT. Construction projects include high rise buildings, town houses and single family homes. It has developed over 100 high quality master-planned communities, comprised of over 20,000 household residential homes & apartments, commercial buildings, parks and schools.
