Formerly known as Taiwan Tung Yang Chemical Industries Co., Ltd., TTYBiopharm Co.,Ltd. was founded on July 22, 1960. In August 1968 it set up the factory in Chungli, began technical cooperation with TOYOJOZO Co., Ltd. Japan, producing new products developed by TOYOJOZO. In January 1993, it set up a joint venture with Shanghai Xudong Haipu. In October 1997 in merged with Dongxing Drugs (holding) Corporation. In July 1998, Securities & Futures Commission approved its public offering of stock. In January 1999 the new liposome technology was patented co-developed with Taiwan Liposome (Holding) Compan. In April 2000 the first anti-cancer drug UFUR obtained new drug license by Health Department (on No.77 Notice)。 On September 27 2001, its stock went listed in OTC market.
