Fromally known as Asia Hotel Co., Ltd., Landis Taipei Hotel Co., Ltd. was established on May 25, 1977, and was approved to be the member of World Outstanding Hotel Organization because of its well-designed, new layout, and attentive service.in 1997, it was allowed for public offering of stock, and went listed in OTC market on June 15, 1999. It set up take-away counters in Tienmu large Takashimaya department store in October 1999 in November 2001 and in Mitsukoshi New World, which were regarded as benchmarks of future take-away counter development.
