Tze Shin International Co., Ltd. was founded in November 1973 and became one of the four largest container transport companies. Approved by Securities and Exchange Commission, Ministry of Finance, the company made public offering in 1990 and was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange on October 28, 1993.Tze Shin is currently principally engaged in the construction business. The company constructs residential and industrial buildings. It is also engaged in the transportation business and oil product related business. For its transportation business, the company is involved in shipside operation, container yard (CY) van transportation, chemical transportation, oil transportation and steel transportation. For its oil product business, the company is engaged in the leasing of gas stations. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the construction business and the transportation business contributed 63% and 29% of the company's total revenue, respectively.
