Closed Joint Stock Company of medicinal establishments of Ukraine "Ukrprofozdorovnytsa" is a major market leader in the sphere of sanatorium-resort services in Ukraine that unites more than 80 sanatorium-resort establishments situated in different climatic regions of Ukraine. The founder of the company is The Ukrainian Trade Union Federation and The Temporal Disability Social Insurance Fund. Around 500 thousand people visit our sanatoria each year.
All sanatorium-resort establishments of the Company are accredited and obtained the licence for medical practice. There are 61 sources of mineral waters and 13 sources of therapeutic mud at the disposal of sanatorium-resort establishments of CJSC "Ukrprofozdorovnytsa". The characteristic feature of sanatorium-resort establishments of CJSC "Ukrprofozdorovnytsa" is the development of medical rehabilitation. About a hundred of rehabilitation departments of more than 20 trends of profile pathology function in the sanatoria, including the departments for the patients with cerebrovascular pathology; after acute myocardial infarction; with locomotor injuries and diseases; with pancreatic diabetes and digestive apparatus diseases; with burn disease and for the pregnant women with the complications of pregnancy.
The aim of these departments is to provide their patients with the qualified medical assistance during the period of sanatorium-resort treatment after the inpatient care. One of the priorities of trade unions sanatorium-resort establishments is the treatment and improving of the children's health. 65,201 children improved their health in our sanatoria in the year 2005.
