Philip Morris Ukraine is the main tobacco producer in Ukraine, a subsidiary of Phillip Morris International, which entered the Ukrainian market in 1994. In 1996, the plant began production of the first international PMI brands in Ukraine - Chesterfield and Bond Street. Later in 2000, the plant began producing Marlboro. Today the company is the leading tobacco company in Ukraine, headquartered in Kiev. It currently operates a state-of-the-art production facility in Kharkiv, manufacturing a range of international brands for the Ukrainian market and for export. Philip Morris Ukraine also operates branches of PMI in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova.
