Ukrspecexport is an authorized state-owned intermediary company, which is engaged in foreign economic activities. The company exports and imports goods and services of military and special purpose, including weapons and ammunition, military and special equipment, components, explosives and other items that can be used for the creation and production of armaments. It was incorporated in 1996. Ukraine was represented at the international markets of arms by three foreign trade organizations - Ukrinmash, Progress, Ukroboronservice, witch were merged as subsidiaries in Ukrspecexport. Also, Promoboronexport, the state foreign trade and investment enterprise, Sperstechnoexport, the state self-supporting foreign trade company, and Tasco-export, the state foreign trade company, have been further joined the company as subsidiaries.
