Tay Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Co., Ltd., located in Tay Ninh, is a state-owned enterprise that operates in the public utility sector. The company was previously known as the Tay Ninh Water Supply Center under the Saigon Water Supply Department before 30/4/1975. After liberation, it became the Water Supply Enterprise under Tay Ninh Department of Construction. In 1998, the name was changed to Tay Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Company. The company was converted into Tay Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Company Limited in 2006 under the Enterprise Law. Before 1994, the company only extracted groundwater from well pumping stations with a capacity of 50-60m3/h/well, totaling about 6,000 m3/day. In 1994, the Tay Ninh Water Plant with a capacity of 7,000 m3/day started operating, sourcing water from Dau Tieng Tay Ninh lake. With loans from ADB in 2010, the capacity of the Tay Ninh Water Plant was increased to 18,000 m3/day, and groundwater extraction stations were established in various districts, bringing the total designed capacity of the company to 25,000 m3/day. Tay Ninh Water Supply and Sewerage Co., Ltd. manages over 23,000 clients and has improved water quality and service by investing in water meter installations for customers. The company also focuses on network renovation and expansion, with a total network length of approximately 371km. In 2016, the company completed the equitization process and officially operated as a joint stock company. It was registered for trading on the UpCom market of the Hanoi Stock Exchange in 2017. The estimated charter capital of the company is VND 105,768,270,000, according to the equitization plan approved by the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.
