JSC Electrical Engineering and Construction of Vietnam (MECO) is a company located in Ha Noi, Vietnam. It was established in March 1956 as the Engineering Construction Company of Agriculture and Water Resources in Hanoi. Initially, it focused on repairing and restoring tractors for agricultural mechanization. Over the years, MECO has undergone several name changes and transformations. In 1993, it was renamed the Plant Engineering Hanoi Agricultural Engineering Company and Rural Development. In 2003, it became the Engineering and Rural Development Engineering Company - Building Agriculture and Water Resources in Hanoi. Finally, in 2007, it was renamed the Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company Engineering and Construction of Vietnam (MECO). MECO has grown significantly since its establishment. It now operates in various industries, including engineering, construction, trade, services, and real estate. The company has a team of nearly 1,000 engineers, specialists, technicians, and skilled workers. It has modern equipment and operates on a national scale. MECO has achieved notable accomplishments and received recognition from the government. It has been awarded the Labor Order third class and second class, as well as the Flag emulate the Government's merit.
