MT Gas Joint Stock Company (Long An) (Vietnam)

MTGas is a company located in Long An, Vietnam. It was established in 2001 by 7 members from different fields and started operating under license number 5003000179 from the Long An Department of Planning and Investment. MTGas is primarily engaged in the business of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and related services. By the end of 2001, the company had established a storage facility for liquefied gas and a port system capable of receiving 5000 DWT vessels in Ben Luc, Long An province. To further develop its position as a leading gas business company, MTGas collaborated with Marubeni Corporation (Japan) and PV Gas South to participate in the largest LPG and LNG storage project in Vietnam, with a capacity of 40,000 tons of LPG and 1,000,000 tons of LNG. MTGas is also involved in other projects, such as a petroleum storage facility with a capacity of 1.5 million liters in collaboration with PDC. The company is also undertaking the development of a 180-hectare industrial park and a resettlement urban area in Long An.
