Ho Chi Minh City Book and School Equipment Company, located in Ho Chi Minh City, was established on December 28, 1984, through the merger of the Release Department – Library and School Equipment Center under the HCMC Department of Education. On March 12, 1993, it became a state-owned enterprise under the HCMC People's Committee and was granted a business registration number. In 2001, it merged with the Learning Tool Enterprise and the Specialized Printing Enterprise. The company's main products and services include manufacturing and supplying school equipment, teaching supplies, buying and selling textbooks, printing student textbooks and school publications, manufacturing cabinets, tables, chairs, wooden products, and producing children's toys. They also engage in video film production, trading in chemicals, audiovisual equipment, computers, and peripherals, as well as providing primary, middle and high school education, vocational training, office leasing, and early childhood education.
