Ho Chi Minh City Development Bank ( the Bank ) is a joint stock commercial bank incorporated in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Bank was established under Decision No. 47IQD-UB issued by the People s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on 1 1 February 1989 and Banking License No. 00019/NH-GP issued by the State Bank of Vietnam ( the SBV ) on 6 June 1992. The Bank s principal activities are to provide banking services including mobilizing and receiving short, medium and long-term deposits from organizations and individuals; making short, medium and long-term loans to organizations and individuals based on the nature and capability of the Bank s capital resources;conducting foreign currency transactions;providing international trade finance services, discounting of commercial notes, bonds and valuable papers; and other banking services as allowed by the SBV.
