Gen - I was established in 2006 under the Istrabenz-Gorenje name as a part of Slovenian Istrabenz-Gorenje. In 2007 company was renamed into Gen - I. The Serbian unit is active in the wholesale of petroleum and petroleum products and electricity trading. In 2014 the GEN-I Belgrade recorded the the highest revenues among all of group's units. The branch aims to challenge the state-owned electricity supplier.
