Serbian Idea D.O.O., which was established in 1992, was initially engaged in the wholesale of non-durable goods. In 2005, the company became part of Croatian concern Agrokor and the first retail store was opened. Idea, based in the capital Belgrade, is primarily engaged in grocery and related retailing. It operates more than 160 stores under the iDEA, iDEA super and iDEA extra names and 7 wholesale centers across the country.
