The Oil Refinery Belgrade is engaged in the production of lubricants, anti-corrosion agents and chemical products.
Rafinerija Nafte Beograd (RNB), founded in 1934 as Bistrana, is one of the oldest enterprises in Serbia. It merged with Antikor in 1961 and incorporated Naftagas in 1970. The same year the lubricant manufacturer was renamed into Rafinerija Nafte Beograd. The company became part of Serbia’s oil and gas monopoly Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) in 1992. It was established as a single state-owned entity in 2005 when NIS split into four units by spinning off non-core activities under a restructuring plan.
