The public utility Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija deals with drinking water treatment and distribution, waste and atmospheric water discharge as well as with Belgrade sewage and water supply system maintenance. It comprises water sources with catchment facilities, water treatment facilities, distribution systems with pump stations and reservoires etc.The main company facilities are: river water treatment plant Makis and Vinca, Banovo Brdo, Bezanija i Bele Vode plants. According to the company officials in 2001 were invested 2 mln. EUR for new vehicles purchase.
The utility has a treatment capacity of 8510 litres per second.
