The Company is a special purpose company and acts as a holding company for the entities within the Group. The principal activities of the subsidiaries comprise of retail and wholesale businesses (hypermarkets, supermarkets, and similar) in the GCC and associated businesses (global sourcing operations which supply to the retail businesses, support services and intellectual property)
Lulu is a home-grown GCC retail champion, proudly operating for 50 years in the GCC. Founded in the UAE in 1974, we've strategically expanded across the GCC. We are the largest full-line pan-GCC retailer, with a strong omni-channel presence including 240 stores operating across three formats, as well as a rapidly growing online presence.
Lulu is 'Where the World Comes to Shop', serving over 600,000 daily shoppers of over 130 nationalities, with 300,000 daily visitors to website and online application.
They are well positioned for further growth, driven by existing store growth and enhancements, new store rollouts, operational leverage and efficiencies, and further upside to be gained through private label, loyalty and online growth.
The Company is registered with Abu Dhabi Global Market , under the license number 000003044 as a Public Company Limited by Shares. The Company was incorporated as Lulu IP SPV Limited on September 23, 2019 and its name was
changed to Lulu Retail Holdings Limited on November 24, 2023. On 4 October 2024, the Company re-registered as a public company limited by shares.
