Poultry and egg producer and retailer Floryhen was set up in 1992 as an Italian-Albanian joint venture.
In October 2001, the company announced that it is going to expand its activity in the cooking oil production sector.
In 2006, Floryhen was certified with ISO 9001:2000 quality standard and began exporting to the European Union.
Floryhen is one of the largest local egg producers, farming more than 600,000 hens and producing over 120 million eggs annually. It exports part of its production to Italy, Romania and Kosovo.
