Edenor S.A. is a company that is responsible for the distribution and commercialization of electrical energy in the area that was granted to it - the northern part of the Federal Capital and the northwestern part of the Great Buenos Aires Region, which covers an area of 4,637 square kilometers and a population of about seven million people. It was constituted in 1992 after the privatization of the state-owned electrical company Servicios Eléctricos del Gran Buenos Aires S.A. (SEGBA). The company is the largest electricity distributor in Argentina in terms of number of customers and electricity sold.
