Meranol S.A.C.I., headquartered at Génova 1431, Dock Sud, Buenos Aires, is a long‑standing Argentine chemical manufacturer established locally in 1942 as the successor to Germany’s Chemische Fabrik Meerane GmbH (founded in 1888). The company is a key producer and distributor of basic industrial chemicals, supplying critical inputs such as aluminum sulfate (solid and liquid), sulfuric acid, sulfur (solid and molten), linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid (H‑LAS), sodium lauryl ether sulfate (S‑LES), ferrites, pigments, and other sulfur‑based derivatives used in industries including water treatment, paper mills, energy generation, detergents, textiles, tanneries, fertilizers, steel, ceramics, and oilfield chemicals.
