Seguros Rivadavia was created in July 1945 in the city of La Plata, on the initiative of the Transportation Chamber of the Province of Buenos Aires. It was initially intended to operate only in the automotive insurance industry, but in 1951 expanded their operations to different branches.At the end of 1997, in response to a resolution issued by the nation's insurance superintendence, Mutual Rivadavia was created, an entity that centralizes and manages, exclusively and adequately, the different coverage and services of public passenger transport insurance. A fines de 1997 respondiendo a una resolución dictada por la superintendencia de seguros de la nación, fue creada Mutual Rivadavia, entidad que centraliza y administra, exclusiva y adecuadamente las distintas coberturas y servicios de los seguros del transporte público de pasajeros.
