Naturgy Ban S.A, formerly known as Gas Natural Ban S.A, was created after the global integration of two large companies (Natural Gas and Union Fenosa) .The company took a significant leadership in the country, today is the largest natural gas distribution company, serving more than 1.5 million customers in the residential , commercial, and industrial services. The December 28, 1992, Gas Natural BAN S.A. obtained a license to provide the public service of natural gas distribution in the northern and western part of the province of Buenos Aires, for a term of 35 years, renewable for 10 more. The service area of 15,000 km2 covering 30 districts of the province, located north and west of the city of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina.
