Transportadora de Gas del Norte S.A. (TGN), incorporated in 1992, is a leading Argentine company in the transportation of natural gas, headquartered in Buenos Aires. TGN operates the largest high-pressure gas pipeline network in Argentina, with over 11,300 kilometers of pipelines and 22 compressor plants, transporting approximately 40% of the natural gas injected into the country’s trunk pipelines, which represents 20% of Argentina’s energy matrix. TGN’s infrastructure includes two main systems: Gasoducto Norte: 4,586 km long, 12 compressor stations, 204,620 HP, and 28 million m³/day capacity; and Gasoducto Centro Oeste: 2,256 km long, 8 compressor stations, 171,000 HP, and 32 million m³/day capacity. The company also provides operation, maintenance, engineering, consulting, and SCADA services to third-party pipelines in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay. TGN is a subsidiary of Gasinvest S.A., which holds 56.35% of its shares and voting rights. TGN is listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (BCBA: TGNO4) and is authorized for public offering in Argentina. It plays a strategic role in regional energy integration, being the only Argentine operator with pipeline connections to Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, and Uruguay, and was a pioneer in developing the natural gas export business.
