In 1965 it was created the College of Business and the Institute of Psychology in Mendoza. They were grouped in 1966 at the Community College of Aconcagua. At the end of thas year, after an extensive and thorough evaluation, the founders decided to adjust assembly and change the names mentioned, by the Faculty of Social and Administrative Sciences and School of Psychology, respectively. In addition, they resolved to create a new faculty: the Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences and instructed the same activities began in 1967. The three schools were integrated under a new category and name: University of Aconcagua. Finally, our institution was officially recognized as a definitive Private University in 1973 (Decree 2227, the Executive).
