Lanaco, which was established in 1990, is the largest private company operating in the field of information technology and telecommunications in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Banja Luka-based company is a partner of U.S. computer software giant Microsoft Corp., networking equipment heavyweight Cisco Systems Inc., software maker Oracle Corp. and computer maker Fujitsu Siemens. It also distributes the products of U.S. computer makers Dell Inc., Hewlett-Packard Co. and is an authorised partner of copiers and laser printers maker Canon Inc. Its product portfolio includes several other world-famous brands. In 1997, Lanaco set up the INECCO company, which was the first commercial Internet service provider in Bosnia. Lanaco’s clients include over 1,000 companies, banks, domestic and international institutions and individual clients.
