MF Banka AD Banja Luka began operations in June, 2007 under the name IEFK Banka AD Banja Luka. It was majority owned by Russia-based East-European Finance Corporation and was the first bank with Russian capital in former Yugoslavia.On July 8 2010 IEFK Banka AD was acquired by MKD Mikrofin d.o.o. Banja Luka and was renamed to MF Banka AD Banja Luka. After the acquisition the bank's share capital was increased by BAM 6,000 and amounted to BAM 26 million at the end of 2010.MF Banka AD Banja Luka offers services mainly directed to micro, small and medium sized enterprises.The bank has two branches and over 30 employees.The shares of MF Banka AD Banja Luka are OTC traded on the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).
