Barbados Port Inc was founded in 1979 under the name of Barbados Port Authority, in 2003 changed its name to its current one. It is 100% owned by the Government of Barbados. It is a company that is engaged in the building, management, maintenance and exploitation of the Bridgetown Port and corresponding waterways, roads and assets.
