Capitec Grameen Bank Growth Fund (Bangladesh)

The Capitec Grameen Bank Growth Fund is a close-end mutual fund launched in collaboration between Grameen Bank and the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh. The Fund's objective is to generate risk adjusted return in the forms of capital appreciation, dividend income and to provide attractive dividend payments to the unit holders by investing the fund in authorized instruments of capital market and money market.
The fund is Close-End Mutual Fund of 10 (Ten) years tenure. The Fund may be redeemed on its converted into the Open-End Scheme by taking the acceptance proposal of pre-determined maturity at the end of the tenth year, but the Fund can be converted into the Open-End Scheme by taking the acceptance proposal of conversion as per BSEC rule and subject to approval of the Commission.
The Fund's constituted by a Trust Deed entered into between Grameen Bank and Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) on 14 May 2023.
The Fund listed on Chittagong Dhaka stock exchanges in 17 October 2023.
