It was established on May 02, 1991, as a public limited company under the Government industrial policy of 1991. Confidence Cement is the pioneer in the private cement sector in Bangladesh. As the flagship company of Confidence Group of Companies, Confidence Cement is one of the largest cement producers in the country. It is listed on both the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd and has been among the top 30 performing companies for the past few years. The company is also the first ISO 9002 certified cement manufacturing company in Bangladesh. Confidence Cement is involved in various sectors including cement, paint, steel fabrication, forging & galvanizing, power generation, battery, transformer, electrical item manufacturing, and concrete products manufacturing.
