The Company is Condensate Fractionation Plant to produce Petroleum Products viz. Motor Spirit (MS). High-Speed Diesel (HSDk and Mineral Turpentine (MTT) and Supply lo Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).
The Company is one of the leading non-govt. Petrochemical Refinery Company who is producing import substitute Fuel products for the country.
The Company has given satisfactory dividend to the investors and then a setback occurred in the edible oil industry as a result of a hike in the price of raw material in the international market.
The Company was established as a Private Limited Company on December 9, 1984.
The Company has been converted from Private to Public Company on February 3, 1988.
The Company s name was changed from Chittagong Vegetable Oil Industries Ltd to CVO Petrochemical Refinery Ltd on july 29 2010
The Company was listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange in 1990 and also listed on Chittagong Stock Exchange on 15 September, 1996.
It has started commercial operation from April 02, 2014
